The open air corridors of the aging youth housing complex exposed the building users to the extreme weather conditions at the north of Israel. We used the pragmatic competition brief in order to propose a new façade system, that beyond providing the required shelter, creates a new layer of program.

Within the 3 dimensional façade that was added to the building, we designed a catalogue of situations inviting the young dwellers to use these spaces as sitting, learning, storing & chilling out areas.
